Veintiséis (Twenty Six) is the driving force of this image. Pedro Albizu Campos spent 26 years as a political prisoner in Puerto Rico, a victim of the U.S. Government. While Humboldt Park celebrates it’s community, history, and its people with its 26th year of Hosting Barrio Fest on the National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture lawn. I wanted to create an image that celebrates 26 and its importance this year to the Puerto Rican Community.
